“Anti Human Trafficking Unit Area Headquarters” (Bettiah) Office 47th Corps, Sashastra Seema Bal Raxaul, East Champaran, Bihar – 845305 (AHTU) is working to prevent human trafficking on India Nepal border. It is continuously engaged in the work areas of four divisions of SSB (21st Bagaha, 44th Narkatiaganj, 47th Raxaul, 65th Bettiah) with the aim of doing the best work for prevention of human trafficking. Also, on the basis of intelligence, minor victims of human trafficking are rescued from other states, in this context, AHTU area. Has launched “Mission Nirbhaya” program.

A information was received from the information system of the in-charge of AHTU team that there is a possibility of someone taking a 15 year old minor girl from Nepal from Raxaul or its surrounding areas, hence all the duties were alerted on this. After some time, the AHTU team saw a minor girl going with a person, so the team got suspicious and then when they stopped them and interrogated them, everyone was surprised.

During interrogation, the person told that his name is Mohammad Imtiaz Mian and age is 28 years, he is a resident of Ratanpur Ghorai District Parsa Nepal in Nepal. He already has a wife and three children. He earns his living by working on tractors or any other kind of labor.

When Mohammad Imtiaz Miyan was asked, he told that he had gone to the village of minor girl Anjali Kumari (age- 15 years) for labor, then he started trying to befriend her and within a short time he became friends with the girl. Went. And the girl went to the temple and also applied vermillion.

The girl told that earlier the man told her his name was Virender but when she fell in love, he told her that his name was Mohammad Imtiaz Miyan. But the 15 year old minor girl fell so much into the trap of the man that she agreed to everything he said.

Then very soon he told the minor girl that he was already married and had three daughters. The girl was initially shocked by this but fell into the trap of the man and decided to live with the man. Then the person explained to her about Islam, so now the girl has started following Islam and then took her to his home and introduced her to his wife. The girl told that her wife told her that both of them would live together and run the house. Mother-in-law and father-in-law were also very happy.

Then when the girl’s family members were talked to, they told that some unknown laborer had lured their daughter away and an FIR was lodged in Nepal Police in this regard.

When the girl’s family was informed that their daughter has been rescued in Raxaul, they were very surprised because they had considered their daughter lost forever.
The minor girl and the culprit were handed over to Inarwa Police Station, Birgunj Nepal by AHTU.
