Gautam Buddha University is opening admissions for the upcoming session 2024-25

Gautam Buddha University was established in 2002 under the Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddha University Act, 2002, with the vision of providing quality education and fostering a holistic development environment. The university is named after Gautam Buddha, emphasizing the principles of peace, compassion, and enlightenment. While the groundwork for GBU was laid in 2002, it wasn’t until the academic session of 2008-2009 that the university officially opened its doors to students. The inaugural program, the MBA, began in August 2008, marking the commencement of GBU’s journey towards becoming a center of academic excellence.

Over the years, Gautam Buddha University has demonstrated remarkable growth and diversification in its academic offerings. From the initial MBA program, the university has expanded its repertoire to include 150+ programs spanning various disciplines such as the School of Engineering, School of Management, School of Biotechnology, School of Buddhist Studies and Civilization, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Information and Communication Technology, School of Law and School of Vocational Studies and Applied Sciences which are designed to provide a comprehensive and specialized education experience to students, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and a well-rounded academic environment. Gautam Buddha University is opening admissions for the upcoming session 2024-25 and offering 155 programs with 16 new programs along with 139 existing programmes to the prospective admission seekers, encompassing many new and sunrise disciplines of studies. All the programmes offered with the purpose to bridge the gap between Industry and academia, the University has introduced many Degree, Diploma and Certificate courses in emerging areas in the field of AI, IT, CSE, ECE, Engineering (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical), Applied Sciences, Biotechnology, Management, Humanities & Social Sciences, Buddhist Studies and Law, Justice & Governance along with the conventional courses like B.A. / B.Sc. / M.A. / M.Sc. / B.A. B.Ed. / B.Com. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed., B. Tech. / M. Tech. / etc. The overall thrust of the University is to enhance quality and innovativeness in teaching-learning and research. University envisions integrating our national ethos in teaching and endeavoring to ingrain the ethics and values in the conduct and behavior of the students of the University.
